BIOGRAPHY
Charlie McMahon took up playing the didjeridu as a child, long before it became popular outside its home in the tropical north, and has become the most acclaimed didjeridu player in Australia.

Since his ear catching beginnings with the Gondwanaland band, Charlie has continued to captivate audiences with his unique fusion of sounds from a miasma of cultures – what many would expect to end in chaos, emerges as extraordinary! As the creator of the Dijeribone - a multi-tone slide didgeridoo - Charlie is an innovator, continually developing new music styles and variations.

From acoustic to jazz, pop to trance, Charlie’s music is truly unlike any other. His energetic live performances have attracted crowds from Bourke to Berlin and everywhere in between. He has appeared on regular tours with Midnight Oil and has collaborated with a range of artists including Jane's Addiction, Keith Urban and John Williamson.
